July was one of the months I didn't have an event where I did a book signing. But it was still busy, I edited book 4 of my Ann Smith serises. Before I gave it to my beta reader who is really good with all the english stuff I am not very good with. I did some writing done on more than one story. I also took part in the weekly prompt from the Hold my pen promptcast. Lets talk about the editing process. For me its self editing to catch as must as I can. I self edit at least four times before I give it to anyone else. My beta reader is my mother in law to be honest. She loves all the things that deal with english, which is helpful to me. I am dyslexic, so I am not great with spelling and grammar. She goes over and reads my stories ensuring everything looks good. She is a huge help to me. My muse has been a busy bee and has me working on a few stories I have written at least a few pages on. I also have written on a few new story ideas, the only thing I haven't worked on was book 5 of my Ann Smith series. Which is what I really need to be working on. I will get to it at some point, just not write now. The Hold my pen promptcast has been helpful to keep me writing sometime its on a stoy I need to write on sometimes, it gets a new story out of my head. Either way I truly enjoy working on prompts every week. It was not the most exciting month but that's ok. I hope you all have a great day. happy reading happy writing
