Life has been busy

   As the title says, life has been busy. First, I had my event last month which was good. I sold 7 books (4 of New Life By The Full Moon, 3 of Life By The Blood Moon) at the event and one of each through Amazon. We were getting everything together so my youngest ready to go to college. So for this month we took them to college last weekend (Aug. 6th) so this week has been hard with lots of tears.

  Now I am working on writing book 4 and trying to save up for book 3 to be edited. I am also working on getting everything ready for an event I am going to being selling my books at Aug. 27th and 28th of this month. So far, I have 3 events set up for the next few months.     I have been trying to get back to my writing. I have been working on promoting stuff, I have sat and tried to write the last few days but that didn't get very far. But I will continue to try to get back to writing. 

    I know my blog posts get kind of whiny at times. But I am being real about my life as a mom/wife/ and writer. I wanted to show all creatives that have other responsibilities that sometimes life and emotions get in the way and it's ok. You will get back to normal and back to working on your crafts, writing, or arts.

April so far

      April so far is going well; I have been getting some writing done. I also have been trying to do more to promote my books. I have also done one event so far this month (April 13th), I have another one this coming weekend (April 21st). I sold seven books at this last event two sets of all three books that are currently out, and one of the first book (New Life By The Full Moon).      I have been working on book four of the Ann Smith series which I believe is the last book of the series. I have also been working on rewriting my vampire book Nirvash, a vampire's tale. along with that book I am writing a companion book about Lovebug, the vampire kitten's life.       I have been doing the normal promoting stuff, like scheduling posts on my social medias. This month is hard.

    I am having a rough month, the only event I had this month was on the 3rd. it did not go as planned, it was a slow event. No one really showed up to it, I did sell 2 books that day. I have been trying to write more, but it isn't going as well as I would like but I am getting words on paper so to speak. I am also dealing with some health issues; I will be OK I just need to get through this.         But I am still moving forward with my writing, scheduling events I am taking part of and promoting my books, events. I know this is not the most thrilling information, but this is my life. I write this blog to let people who want to do anything creative as more than a hobby that sometime life can effect what you are doing more than you could ever think possible. But I do not give up on my dreams. life can be a pain some time, but it doesn't mean you stop. I will get back to writing happy reading happy writing

May

  So far May is going well, my first event this month was on the 4th, it went well I sold 11 books and got to talk to interesting people. my next event is on May18th, it is taking place in Maryville IL. I am doing this event for the first time; I am hoping it is a good event for me.     I have been working on redoing my vampire book which was pulled from print years ago the title is still Nirvash, A Vampire's Tale. I finished up doing the self-edit and adding some details all on paper. I need transcribe it to the document on my laptop. I am going to try and get it out by the end of the year so i can possibly get Lovebug's life story out the following year.   I don't have a whole lot more to say at this time.
