An update

  I thought I would pop on to give you all an update on what's going on with me. I got the preliminary cover design for my book. It wasn't quite right, so I let them know and told them what I was thinking again and what was good about the cover.  I am hoping it doesn't take too long to get the cover design back. I am also hoping to get the bookmark on pop up banner designs too. I was hoping to get them by now so I could get them printed and have them by Archon this year. I am hoping to get the book out by the end of the year. I'm not sure it will be but i am hopeful.

 I also have been weeding out the unsupportive and negative people in my life. Some have been my friend for YEARS. Others are family members who are either jelious of what I have done and what I am doing. Or they don't think I will make anything of myself. Now the family members I have not cut  out of my life. I just stopped talking to them about what I am doing, I don't really talk to many at all.

 I do have family and friends who are very supportive of me and will get just as excited when I am excited about something. They will set people straight when someone says I don't work. I love everyone in my life and it hurts when I have to cut them out of my dreams or my life because they can't handle or understand my writing is my job and one day it will be my career. It's going to help me bring money in to my home, it will help pay bills and get us where we want to be one day.

I need to get going I have a few things to get done before the kids get off school

April so far

      April so far is going well; I have been getting some writing done. I also have been trying to do more to promote my books. I have also done one event so far this month (April 13th), I have another one this coming weekend (April 21st). I sold seven books at this last event two sets of all three books that are currently out, and one of the first book (New Life By The Full Moon).      I have been working on book four of the Ann Smith series which I believe is the last book of the series. This month is hard.

    I am having a rough month, the only event I had this month was on the 3rd. it did not go as planned, it was a slow event. No one really showed up to it, I did sell 2 books that day. I have been trying to write more, but it isn't going as well as I would like but I am getting words on paper so to speak. I am also dealing with some health issues; I will be OK I just need to get through this.         But I am still moving forward with my writing, scheduling events I am taking part of and promoting my books, events. I know this is not the most thrilling information, but this is my life. I write this blog to let people who want to do anything creative as more than a hobby that sometime life can effect what you are doing more than you could ever think possible. But I do not give up on my dreams. life can be a pain some time, but it doesn't mean you stop. I will get back to writing happy reading happy writing

May

  So far May is going well, my first event this month was on the 4th, it went well I sold 11 books and got to talk to interesting people. my next event is on May18th, it is taking place in Maryville IL. I am doing this event for the first time; I am hoping it is a good event for me.     I have been working on redoing my vampire book which was pulled from print years ago the title is still Nirvash, A Vampire's Tale. I finished up doing the self-edit and adding some details all on paper. I need transcribe it to the document on my laptop. I am going to try and get it out by the end of the year so i can possibly get Lovebug's life story out the following year.   I don't have a whole lot more to say at this time.
