Haters of your work

There will all way be haters no matter if you are a writer, painter, or doctor. This blog has come about because I was reading a blog about how to basically ignore them. I agree with most points of this blog. ( here is the link http://positivewriter.com/online-haters/ )

 You can't let the haters make you second guess yourself about what you are passionate about. The author of the blog made a good point. If you are getting emails from haters that means at least for artists of most types that your audience is growing. That's the goal for me as a writer to get a big audience reading my blog posts, my books heck anything I write.

 So I have come to expect hater mail from people who are not brave enough to do what I am doing. I normally ignore the hater mail or send a reply saying I am sorry they found something wrong with my writing, or just dislike my writing and I invite them not to read anything else I write so I do not displease them anymore.

 I invite any of you to tell me how you deal with haters or hater mail. I also invite you to comment on my of my posts.

April so far

      April so far is going well; I have been getting some writing done. I also have been trying to do more to promote my books. I have also done one event so far this month (April 13th), I have another one this coming weekend (April 21st). I sold seven books at this last event two sets of all three books that are currently out, and one of the first book (New Life By The Full Moon).      I have been working on book four of the Ann Smith series which I believe is the last book of the series. This month is hard.

    I am having a rough month, the only event I had this month was on the 3rd. it did not go as planned, it was a slow event. No one really showed up to it, I did sell 2 books that day. I have been trying to write more, but it isn't going as well as I would like but I am getting words on paper so to speak. I am also dealing with some health issues; I will be OK I just need to get through this.         But I am still moving forward with my writing, scheduling events I am taking part of and promoting my books, events. I know this is not the most thrilling information, but this is my life. I write this blog to let people who want to do anything creative as more than a hobby that sometime life can effect what you are doing more than you could ever think possible. But I do not give up on my dreams. life can be a pain some time, but it doesn't mean you stop. I will get back to writing happy reading happy writing

May

  So far May is going well, my first event this month was on the 4th, it went well I sold 11 books and got to talk to interesting people. my next event is on May18th, it is taking place in Maryville IL. I am doing this event for the first time; I am hoping it is a good event for me.     I have been working on redoing my vampire book which was pulled from print years ago the title is still Nirvash, A Vampire's Tale. I finished up doing the self-edit and adding some details all on paper. I need transcribe it to the document on my laptop. I am going to try and get it out by the end of the year so i can possibly get Lovebug's life story out the following year.   I don't have a whole lot more to say at this time.
