I am excited because my book 'New Life By The Full Moon' will be out on Sunday!!! I have waited so long for this. I have been promoting for a while now, I want it to sell well. not because I want to be rich (which would be awesome though). I want it to sell well because I want everyone who would like to read it to have the chance to. so I am promoting my bottom off. I have also been getting everything together and ready for the launch party on Feb. 1st. that is another reason I am excited. I am work on getting things together to have a table at archon this year, I will go more in to that as it gets closer to archon. Don't worry though I am still writing and editing with all this going on, I'm not writing as much as I was but I am still writing. I am also answering question on my Facebook or in emails. heck even in person, so yea I am busy but I am happy. I am happy because I am moving in the right direction. I am having a launch party for my book I went and rented a beautiful place to have. it will be held Feb 1st,  There will be food, and drinks (non-alcoholic), and goodies. I will be holding raffles for two door prizes.    As the title says I am having frustrations with publishing. Ok let me back track a bit, I am publishing with a hybrid publishing company. So technically I am self publishing but the publishing company is helping me with the businessy( yes I know it's not a word) part of it. Well since some of the sites/programs have merged(i.e. Createspace and kdp) so somethings don't work like they used to. I was trying to order some copies of my book so I can sell them at my launch party but I can't until the book is live ( out so the public can buy it) but I don't want it out until the 20th and I want the launch party to be like the 25th. So I contacted the publisher ( which is the owner of the publishing company and the editing company I went with). She asked if we could talk yesterday ( Friday December 28 2018) and told me she has the ebook convertion(sp). I said yes but she is also in the middle of moving and with the holiday stuff. You read it in the title, I finally got my proof copy of  'New Life By The Full Moon' and so far everything is looking good. I am super excited and I am doing everything I can to get the word out. I also had a meeting with my publisher and she gave me some more tools to use to get my name out there and to get better at promoting my book. As soon as the book is prefect pre sales will start and it will be out in January. I can't wait, I just hope it's received well. I know this is one of my shorter blogs, I promise to try to get some longer ones in here soon. I need to try and get some sleep but before I go I will leave you with a question. I got notification that I should have my proof copy no later than Saturday. Which is awesome and I am really excited. But I am also scared to death, I know that getting published is a big deal and I want to be published. But it's the logistics that has me scared. I am worried about how does the taxes work? Do I have to do taxes quarterly or can I do taxes yearly? I don't understand taxes to begain with so who can I trust to do my taxes if it's done quarterly? How will it effect my husband's taxes? Can we still file jointly if I have to do my taxes quarterly? You see no has explained this to me and I can't find any information on it anywhere I look. I am really starting to think I might have messed up by getting published. I know it wasn't a mistake but this part is the scariest part for me. I wanted to let you all know my book 'New Life By The Full Moon' will be out January 20th. Online preordering soon but up soon. I am so excited, and nervous about it. I am hoping it sells well, I am doing everything I can to get the word out about my book.
