October

     October was an interesting month, the first weekend I was at Archon 47, and I made 10 sales and was a panelist at like 5 panels. It was a really fun weekend; I met lots of awesome people. I have been working on getting Nirvash, A Vampire's tale ready to be published hopefully by the end of the year.  so, I was working on everything for that. I added 3 to 4 works in progress in October. 

    Archon 47 was the only event I had in October I made the 10 sales which is not the amount I had hoped but it was good. I believe that my panel schedule was not conducive for making book sales. I have decided that I will not be a part of panels next year to see if my theory is correct. I got to talk to a lot of awesome authors and artist that weekend.

    Nirvash, A Vampire's tale has been edited and I have just finished the work on the book cover today. I am hoping to get ARCs out soon. there isn't much else to do before getting it published, which should be the end of the year if not the beginning of next year.

    My muse has been super busy but on every other story than the one I want to be working on. that is why I added ne W.I.P.s in October. None of them have titles right now, I have a fantasy one that got started due to a writing prompt. then there is the sci-fi one that was also from a writing prompt, that one I was told I needed to finish. I started a vampire story; I am not sure if it will be a short story or something longer.

     that was my October, I know it doesn't seem like a busy month, but it was busier than one would think. My November is starting off good, I am writing and getting everything to a point that it has to be edited or ready for beta readers. but I will talk more about it another day.

April so far

      April so far is going well; I have been getting some writing done. I also have been trying to do more to promote my books. I have also done one event so far this month (April 13th), I have another one this coming weekend (April 21st). I sold seven books at this last event two sets of all three books that are currently out, and one of the first book (New Life By The Full Moon).      I have been working on book four of the Ann Smith series which I believe is the last book of the series. I have also been working on rewriting my vampire book Nirvash, a vampire's tale. along with that book I am writing a companion book about Lovebug, the vampire kitten's life.       I have been doing the normal promoting stuff, like scheduling posts on my social medias. I have also started a reading group but it's not going well so far. But I am hopeful it will get better. This month is hard.

    I am having a rough month, the only event I had this month was on the 3rd. it did not go as planned, it was a slow event. No one really showed up to it, I did sell 2 books that day. I have been trying to write more, but it isn't going as well as I would like but I am getting words on paper so to speak. I am also dealing with some health issues; I will be OK I just need to get through this.         But I am still moving forward with my writing, scheduling events I am taking part of and promoting my books, events. I know this is not the most thrilling information, but this is my life. I write this blog to let people who want to do anything creative as more than a hobby that sometime life can effect what you are doing more than you could ever think possible. But I do not give up on my dreams. life can be a pain some time, but it doesn't mean you stop. I will get back to writing happy reading happy writing

So far this March.

 I have only done one event at the beginning of the month. It was a first event for the hosts, so there is room for improvement. It was not really that bad. I made 4 sales which was pretty good.   I have been writing on a new story that is tied in to a vampire book I unpublished because it needs a lot of work. But it going well, I also have been working on book 4 of my Ann Smith series. I am still unsure if I will publish it. To help with my writing I have been taking part in some writing sprints with other authors. I find it helpful especially when I have a question on wording.  My next event is April 13th at the Highland Illinois knights of Columbus. It is with a host I have worked with before so it should be a good event.  I know this is kind of short but I haven’t had a whole lot to update you all on.
